Every city, town and village in New York State and every municipality in New Jersey is on the map. Zoning districts are drawn for NYC, all of Westchester and Dutchess, the Town of Clarkstown and unincorporated Ramapo (official GIS), the towns and cities that publish an official GIS zoning layer (our copies, e.g. Ulster County, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, Islip), and the towns whose PDF zoning maps we digitized (unofficial; confirm with the town). In New Jersey, districts come from the NJTPA Zoning Atlas (13 North Jersey counties, including all of Bergen and Passaic) and county and city GIS layers (our copies). The GIS copies are unofficial too. Lot lines show when you zoom in close (Rockland, Westchester, Orange, Putnam, Dutchess and NYC). Grey towns and villages: districts not drawn yet, tap one for its map and code links.
Every city, town and village in New York State (about 1,500) and every municipality in New Jersey (564), with its zoning map and zoning code wherever we found them online. New Jersey links are from the NJ Department of Community Affairs list of municipal zoning maps and ordinances.
Zoning info is for reference only. Some maps are dated. Always confirm with the municipality's building/zoning department.
